The cactus form is both whimsical and elegant, blending natural inspiration with mid-century decorative styling. Its height and branching silhouette make it an instant focal point. Dating / Background Cactus-form brass décor reached peak popularity in the 1950s–1970s, especially in American and European interiors embracing desert motifs and biomorphic forms. The casting style, finish, and plinth construction all support a dating of circa 1960s. Condition Very good overall with expected age and handling wear. Some gold-tone finish losses around the base and paint losses on the plinth. Presents well and remains structurally sound.
